Slovenian Localization Flags — Technical Overview
l10n_si_config supplies a company accounting switch and shared fields for
Slovenian accounting behavior in Odoo 18. It also provides journal fiscal-position
configuration and optional filtering of Slovenian menus.
For installation and user workflows, see the module overview and user manual.
Components
| Component | Current implementation |
|---|---|
| Company setting | res.company.l10n_si_accounting, defaulting to false |
| Settings form | Editable related field on res.config.settings |
| Shared mixin | l10n.si.mixin with nonstored localization flags |
| Journal configuration | Company-scoped l10n_si_fiscal_position_id |
| Menu configuration | Slovenian marker, fiscal-position selection, and optional company-context filtering |
The manifest declares base_vat, stock_landed_costs,
account, and pmis_ux dependencies. Enabling the switch does not install
a chart of accounts or other reporting addons.
Implementation guides
- Company and record flags: field ownership, company fallback, loaded model extensions, and backend use.
- Views and QWeb: conditional display and explicit company scope in reports.
- Account groups: native code-range classification supplied by the chart addon.
Model imports in models/init.py determine which extensions are loaded. Localization flags affect behavior and visibility; access remains governed by model ACLs and record rules.
