Enable Slovenian accounting separately for each company and configure journal fiscal positions in one shared foundation addon. Accounting, product, partner and stock extensions can use its localization flags to adapt their workflows and views.

Enabling the switch does not install a chart or the other localization addons; choose those separately.

Features

Company configuration

  • Adds Slovenian Accounting > Use Slovenian Accounting in Settings.

  • Exposes the same company switch through company and settings views.

  • Adds a company-scoped Slovenia - Fiscal Position field to journals.

  • Supplies a Slovenia Menus group, initially assigned to the administrator.

Shared localization flags

  • Provides l10n.si.mixin for accounting, partner, product and stock records.

  • Exposes company_l10n_si_accounting for view expressions and keeps is_l10n_si_record as a compatibility flag.

  • Uses the record's company when available, otherwise the current company.

  • Allows menus to be marked as Slovenian-specific. With a valid menus_current_company context, marked menus are hidden when that company's Slovenian accounting switch is disabled.

Configuration

  • Dependencies are base_vat, stock_landed_costs, account and pmis_ux.

  • The manifest enables automatic installation when its dependencies are satisfied.

  • Enable Use Slovenian Accounting separately for each company that needs the dependent Slovenian workflows. The switch defaults to disabled.

  • Configure journal fiscal positions from the same company as the journal.

Usage

Enable Slovenian accounting:

  1. Select the intended company.

  2. Open Settings > Slovenian Accounting.

  3. Enable Use Slovenian Accounting and save.

  4. Review the relevant journal fiscal positions and dependent localization addons' own configuration.

Use the flags in dependent addons:

  1. Read company_id.l10n_si_accounting for company-specific behavior.

  2. Use company_l10n_si_accounting in view expressions where available.

  3. Mark Slovenian-specific menus with is_l10n_si_record when they should participate in this addon's menu filtering.

Data model notes

  • res.company.l10n_si_accounting is the source of the accounting switch; settings expose it as an editable related field.

  • The mixin's flags are computed and non-stored. Accounting moves and move lines also expose a direct related company flag.

  • ir.ui.menu._filter_visible_menus() applies filtering after Odoo's normal visibility checks. An absent or invalid menus_current_company context leaves the normal menu result unchanged.

  • The journal fiscal-position field is configuration data; its downstream application is implemented by consuming addons.

Known limitations

  • This addon does not install every Slovenian localization addon or provide a localization-selection wizard.

  • Visibility depends on explicit view expressions using the company flags and on the menu context described above.

  • Individual addons decide how to use the switch. It is not a universal gate for every Slovenian feature in the repository.
