PMIS MRP Reports

Beta License: LGPL-3 PMISuite/Glass Version: 18.0

PDF and XLSX reports for Manufacturing Orders with a reporting wizard.

Features

  • PDF and XLSX output from a Manufacturing reporting wizard.

  • Product, commercial customer, manufacturing state, start-date, and responsible user filters.

  • Orders grouped by customer, with source order, quantity, state, and deadline.

  • Optional work-order names, work-center codes, and translated states.

Configuration

The module requires mrp, mrp_sale_info, and report_xlsx. Configure manufacturing orders and their customer information before reporting.

pmis_quant_measurements is optional here. When its production piece field is available, the report quantity uses that field; otherwise it uses manufacturing order quantity. The label-workcenter filter requires its pmis_show_on_production_label field to identify eligible work centers.

The wizard ACL grants internal users access; manufacturing record access still controls which orders are found. PDF uses a QWeb report. XLSX uses this addon's backend report handler and authenticated /xlsx_reports download controller, rather than a report_xlsx abstract report model.

Usage

  1. Open Manufacturing → Reporting → Manufacturing Reports.

  2. Select products, customers, and states as needed. Enable the date or responsible-user filters to enter their values.

  3. Enable Include Work Orders details when those details are required.

  4. Select Print Pdf or Export xls. The latter generates an XLSX file.

Start Date selects manufacturing orders whose start is on or after that date; it does not filter their deadlines. Customer selection includes contacts of the selected commercial customer. Empty optional filters leave the search unrestricted within the current user's record access. No matching orders raises No data is available to print.

Only Workcenters on Production Label limits the optional work-order details. If the label field is unavailable, enabling this option omits all work-order detail rows. It does not exclude the manufacturing orders themselves.

With pmis_quant_measurements installed, an order's zero or absent piece value is reported as zero, even when its native manufacturing quantity is positive. There is no per-order quantity fallback while the piece field exists. Customer grouping uses the displayed commercial-customer name, so separate customer records with identical names share a report section. Orders without a customer appear under (No Customer).

Reports do not update manufacturing quantities, deadlines, or work orders.

Bug Tracker

Bugs are tracked on PMISuite Repository Issues. Before opening a new issue, check whether it has already been reported. Include the module and Odoo versions, steps to reproduce, and expected and actual results. Use synthetic examples and redact sensitive information.
