Slovenia Assets Management
English | Slovenščina
Prepare fixed-percentage or declining depreciation schedules within OCA asset management. Set defaults on asset profiles, review each asset's depreciation board, and retain useful acquisition and previous-system information.
A separate manual close action changes the asset state without creating disposal accounting.

Features
Percentage depreciation
Adds Percentage to the asset profile's Time Method.
Supports Fixed (percentage of base) and Declining (switch to linear).
Uses one annual rate in the range 0 < rate <= 100.
Derives the period rate by dividing the annual percentage by 100 and then by 12 for months, 4 for quarters or 1 for years.
Fixed mode applies that rate to the depreciation base. Declining mode takes the greater of residual times period rate and residual divided by remaining non-initial periods.
Rounds amounts in company currency. If a positive residual would round to a zero non-initial amount, it uses one currency rounding unit, capped by the remaining residual.
Assigns the remaining residual to the last non-initial period.
Marks periods on or before the fiscal-year lock date as initial lines with zero depreciation.
Asset information and controls
Adds purchase date, first previous depreciation date, previously depreciated amount and number of previous depreciation periods.
Copies percentage settings from the profile when selecting it on a draft asset and when creating an asset with a profile.
Makes percentage fields read-only outside draft in the asset form.
Blocks ORM writes to percentage fields after any depreciation move has been posted.
Adds an accounting-manager Set to close button that sets the asset's state to close.
Configuration
Install with account_asset_management and account_asset_force_account.
Open Accounting > Configuration > Assets > Asset Profiles and select Percentage as the Time Method when required.
Configure the annual rate, percentage algorithm, period length and schedule end date or number of periods.
The profile defaults to a 100% annual rate and fixed mode; review these defaults for each asset class.
Percentage fields are displayed only for the Percentage Time Method.
Usage
Prepare a percentage asset:
Open Accounting > Accounting > Assets and create a draft asset.
Select the profile and review the copied percentage settings.
Enter acquisition values, depreciation dates and the schedule duration.
Fill previous-system information when needed.
Compute the depreciation board through the standard asset workflow and review the period amounts, lock-date lines and final residual.
Confirm and post depreciation through the dependency's normal workflow.
Close an asset manually:
Review the asset and its outstanding accounting work.
As an accounting manager, use Set to close.
The action changes the state only; it does not create disposal, write-off or balancing journal entries.
Data model notes
Extends account.asset.profile and account.asset with annual_percentage and percentage_type.
_compute_depreciation_table() implements the percentage schedule. Other Time Methods delegate to the upstream implementation.
The schedule uses method_end when set, otherwise derives its end from method_number and method_period.
Previous-system fields are purchase_date, first_depreciation_date, depreciated_amount and existing_depreciations. This addon does not automatically import historical depreciation moves from those values.
Known limitations
If every scheduled period is initial because of the lock date, there is no non-initial line on which to clear the residual.
The closing shortcut does not validate that depreciation or disposal accounting is complete.
