Account Chart for commercial companies V.2

English | Slovenščina

License: LGPL-3 Version: 18.0

Build a Slovenian commercial company's accounting setup with a chart of accounts, default taxes, fiscal positions and tax-report templates for Odoo 18. This addon supplies the accounting foundation; install l10n_si_tax_addons for VAT-register and filing-export workflows.

The addon replaces the upstream Slovenian chart provider and cannot be installed alongside l10n_si.

Table of contents

Documentation

  • User Manual: illustrated company chart setup, account and tax review, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Features

  • Supplies account, account-group, tax, tax-group and fiscal-position templates under chart code si.

  • Loads Slovenian tax-report definitions, including issued, received and Article 76a reporting structures.

  • Sets six-digit account codes, storno accounting and Anglo-Saxon accounting.

  • Supplies default receivable, payable, income, expense, stock, exchange difference and point-of-sale receivable accounts.

  • Sets Slovenia as the fiscal country and supplies default 22% sales and purchase taxes.

  • Explicitly selects this addon's template provider for chart code si. Upstream l10n_si is declared incompatible.

Configuration

  • Install with account, base_iban and base_vat.

  • For automatic Slovenian chart selection, install the base-only l10n_pmis policy in a completed operation before installing Accounting. See the policy installation guide.

  • Without that policy, install this chart addon explicitly. Its manifest sets auto_install=False.

  • Do not install alongside upstream l10n_si. Existing upstream accounting data requires a separate migration before adopting the replacement.

Usage

Set up a Slovenian company:

  1. Complete the applicable manual installation or two-step policy bootstrap.

  2. Select the Slovenian chart during company accounting setup.

  3. Review generated accounts, default taxes, fiscal positions and reporting definitions for the company's activities.

  4. Configure bank journals and operational accounting settings in Accounting.

Tax configuration defaults

The chart provides a ready-to-review tax configuration: 69 active taxes, 14 grouped taxes with child taxes, invoice/refund posting accounts, signed tags, tax-closing flags, tax-group ordering and global tax rounding. Historical archived taxes are not seeded into new companies.

Non-deductible tax tags are defined in data/non_deductible_tax_tags.xml with stable external IDs. Tax and repartition templates are in data/template/account.tax-si.csv.

The reference intentionally uses non-deductible tags +9004/-9004 for PAV-8 and E-PAV8-DDA. It does not map these tags to DDV-O or a tax-book column. These are reference settings, not a new legal interpretation.

Install l10n_si_tax_addons for the corresponding tax-book mappings. Review each company's actual taxes and repartitions before use; templates define defaults, not continuous synchronization of existing configuration.

Account group defaults

The chart supplies 78 reference account groups: 10 one-digit roots and 68 two-digit children. Prefixes, including leading zeros, match the reviewed configuration. Odoo derives parent groups and account membership from these ranges. English base names have the exact reference Slovenian labels in name@sl, including the reference's spelling.

Account groups belong to the chart configuration of the root company; branches use their root company's groups. Review custom account codes and prefix ranges in the company's Chart of Accounts.

Data model notes

  • account.chart.template supplies the si template methods and provider-selection override.

  • Template CSV files live under data/template/; tax reports are loaded from the XML files declared in the manifest.

  • Existing chart identifiers are retained. This addon does not rename chart data or convert existing accounting entries.

  • Bank, cash and transfer account prefixes default to 110, 100 and 109.
