PMIS Stock Inventory Location Filter

Beta License: AGPL-3 PMISuite/stock-accounting Version: 18.0

Extends OCA inventory adjustment groups so quant selection and review respect the inventory's selected locations and product domain. Dependencies are stock_inventory and stock_inventory_preparation_filter.

Usage

  1. Configure an Inventory Adjustment Group with its locations.

  2. Choose whether to exclude sublocations.

  3. For domain-based selection, supply the product domain and prepare the inventory.

  4. Open Inventory Adjustments to review the selected quants.

The action adds a location filter: exact selected locations when sublocations are excluded, otherwise their descendants. With no locations, the inherited action is unchanged.

Domain inventory behavior

The addon evaluates the product domain through Odoo's safe evaluator and finds matching accessible products. It ensures a base quant exists for each selected product/location pair, expanding locations to child internal locations when appropriate. Existing lot-, package-, or owner-specific quants do not replace that untracked base quant.

Preparing these inventories can therefore create zero-quantity quant records; it is not a read-only filter. Existing quants are reused, and the resulting records are filtered through the inventory's base domain.

The progress counter reports pending review quants belonging to the current inventory against its linked quant count. Other selection modes delegate to the inherited behavior. No stock quantity is adjusted merely by opening the review action; use the normal inventory validation workflow.
