CRM vendor bills

Beta License: LGPL-3 PMISuite/stock-accounting Version: 18.0

This addon converts a CRM lead into an empty draft vendor bill, retaining the lead's conversation and directly linked attachments. It depends on CRM and Accounting and provides the crm.lead.convert2bill wizard.

Configuration

Users need access to the lead, conversion wizard, partners, and vendor bills. Configure a purchase journal for the company selected by the wizard's company_id context, or the user's default company when that context is absent. The journal is not selected from the lead's company automatically.

Usage

  1. Review the CRM lead's contact and company details, then click New Vendor Bill.

  2. Confirm the dialog with Receive Invoice. The wizard determines the partner from the lead; it does not offer a partner selector.

  3. Review the partner on the resulting draft vendor bill.

  4. Enter invoice lines, vendor reference, dates, and amounts, then follow the normal accounting validation workflow.

The wizard matches or creates a contact from lead details and uses its commercial partner for the bill. It selects the first matching purchase journal, transfers lead messages and directly attached files to the bill, posts links between the records, and archives the lead.

Limitations

The wizard does not read invoice amounts or lines from emails or attachments and does not post the bill. It has no duplicate-bill guard: invoking conversion again can create another bill. Review the archived lead and existing bill before repeating the operation.
