FURS download evidence

Checked against public FURS/eDavki sources on 2026-09-20. No taxpayer account was accessed and no private return or VAT book was downloaded.

Verified formats and their meaning

Evidence Published format What it establishes
Latest KIR/KPR data, through Evidenci obračunanega DDV in odbitka DDV, column Pridobi podatke iz evidenc XML The portal guide explicitly describes downloading the data of the submitted books from this view.
KIR/KPR upload history, Poslani evidenci obračunanega DDV in odbitka DDV Portal view Lists uploads, evidence IDs, periods, processing status and errors/warnings. This is distinct from the latest-books view.
VAT-book GetInvoiceBookReceipt response XML, root Povratnica, namespace DDV_KIR_KPR_Povratnica_1.xsd Receipt metadata, including evidence ID, taxpayer, period, upload format and processing status. It does not contain the VAT-book transaction rows.
Ordinary filed eDavki document / digital receipt, including DDV-O, RP-O and PD-O XML The original filed document augmented with the eDavki server signature and timestamp. The DDV-O portal guide documents saving the digital receipt locally; the general document contract and API describe its XML contents.
KIR/KPR submission files ZIP containing XML, JSON or CSV These are documented input formats. Their availability for submission does not establish equivalent download formats from the latest-books view.

The guide explicitly warns that VAT books with errors are not filed. It also says that latest-books data comes from the backend and is not visible immediately after upload. The service specification distinguishes Uploaded, Validating, ValidatedOk, ValidationError, InProcess, ProcessedOk and ProcessedError. Successful front-end validation is not the same as successful backend processing.

There is no basis in the sources checked to claim that the latest-books download is CSV, JSON, XLSX, PDF or a ZIP archive. The guide explicitly names XML.

An ordinary digital receipt proves the contents of a particular filed document; it is not automatically a consolidated view incorporating corrections filed in later returns. Effective-state reconciliation must account for replacement, cancellation and later-period correction documents where applicable.

Schema verification

The official forms catalog links the following versions as currently valid:

Report Schema
DDV-O DDV_O_11.xsd
RP-O VIES_KP_6.xsd
PD-O PD_O_2.xsd
KIR/KPR DDV_KIR_KPR_1.xsd, linked directly under the catalog's special VAT-book schemas section

The published RP-O, PD-O and KIR/KPR schemas match the dependency's copies after normalizing line endings. The downloaded DDV-O schema contained four optional elements missing from the dependency's copy, despite using the same schema name: selfReportDoNotUseInstitute, idEvidenc, contactPersonFullName, and contactPersonPhoneNumber. The local DDV-O schema was refreshed from the official file, preserving its complete declarations and annotations with normalized line endings and trailing whitespace. These fields are official declarations.

The official FormsXml catalog directly links the KIR/KPR XML schema at https://edavki.durs.si/Documents/Schemas/DDV_KIR_KPR_1.xsd, alongside its JSON schema. The directly linked XSD matches both the local copy and the service-bundle copy after normalizing line endings. This published XSD is the authoritative format contract for VAT-book XML; the viewing guide establishes the download location. No separate, undocumented download schema should be presumed.

The earlier assessment missed this direct catalog link and incorrectly made an authenticated sample a prerequisite for defining the import format. An authenticated portal round trip remains an unexecuted acceptance test, not a missing schema specification. The importer validates against the published schemas and rejects nonconforming files.
